Love cookie dough but don't love the calories? Then this hummus cookie dough healthier alternative is for you. Keep this snack handy when you want something sweet but don't want to sabotage your healthy habits.

 

Yields6 Servings

 

Ingredients
 2 cups chickpeas, drained & rinsed
 ¼ cup dry rolled oats
 ½ cup raw cashews
 4 tbsp pure maple syrup
 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
 2 tbsp coconut milk
 1 ½ tbsp mini chocolate chips

 

Directions

Combine all ingredients minus chocolate chips into a blender or food processor. Process for about 2 minutes or until smooth.

It will be very thick so scrape down the sides as needed.

Place the mixture in a large bowl and fold in the chocolate chips.

Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. Can be stored for up to 5 days.

Serve by itself or with apple slices, pear slices, strawberries or your fav fruit!
