Day Five – What Is IT?
We’re saying “no” to excuses and “yes” to getting IT done! What is “it?”
IT is working out because you said you would!
IT is choosing your health over excuses!
IT is saying YES to the commitment you made to yourself that you were going to work out and sweat and sparkle and show everyone around you what’s possible when you DECIDE you’re going to do something for YOU!
Are you excited? Are you gonna get your workout in today? I sure hope so! If there is absolutely no way you can do it today – work stuff came up, your kid is sick, you’re not feeling well – you can still sparkle by doing SOMETHING. If your workout isn’t going to happen, strengthen your whole body by doing everything you can while standing! Fold laundry, call your friends, watch TV. If you can easily stand while doing it, then do it. And stand up straight! Improve your posture, strengthen your back and core, maybe throw in some calf raises. It sounds silly, but stand with an intention and that intention is to do something good for your heart today!
